Bally Mind and Body Classes


Strike a balance between work life and real life with the new Mind and Body Classes at Bally. We’ve designed a variety of cutting-edge classes like Pilates and Yoga — completely new classes to give you more ways to keep fit, relieve stress and relax your mind.

Bally Mind and Body Classes are the perfect way to build strength where you need it most without bulking up. You can get better flexibility and finish feeling relaxed with every session. Click here for more group exercise classes.

Yoga:
Total Fitness Yoga focuses on physical exercises and breathing practices which means greater benefits for you. Beyond increasing strength and flexibility, you’ll also improve cellular function within virtually all systems of the body. Our specialty format benefits individuals of all ages, regardless of their previous experience with yoga.

Pilates:
We also take pride in making Pilates accessible to everyone. Across the country, members have access to the Pilates Mat Class. The class format may include progressions of traditional Pilates exercises and/or may incorporate Pilates-evolved exercises, all of which focus on proper breathing and core control. Benefits include increased muscular definition and improvements in coordination, flexibility, and body awareness. Equipment is not used, however, small props like the Pilates magic circle or foam roller may be used to accentuate movement.

Pilates exercises focus on proper alignment and appropriate muscle recruitment in well-designed exercise sequences. Although a major focus is on the body’s core—abdominals, back, and hips—the entire body gets a workout.

Total Pilates Studio
At 49 clubs, members can access one of our new Total Pilates Studios. Classes include:

Pilates Orientation An introduction to the principles of the Pilates method of exercise including proper breathing, movement, and set up on the apparatus.

Group Reformer
A total body workout that includes both traditional Pilates and evolved exercises on the Allegro® reformer. The reformer assists and accentuates movement creating challenges to further advance performance.

Group EXO Chair
Classical and evolved Pilates exercises that promote strength. The EXO™ chair uniquely offers a resistance kit that expands the traditional exercise options.

JUMP!
Cardio Pilates. With extensive use of the jumpboard on the Allegro® reformer, this horizontal aerobic workout will burn fat and calories through safe and effective Pilates exercises.

Pilates Circuit
Move through Pilates stations that utilize the Allegro® reformer, EXO™ chair, and select small apparatus for a complete, full-body workout.

The 100: Pilates Boot Camp
For the experienced Pilates enthusiast. 30 minutes of Pilates Mat + 30 minutes of Allegro® reformer + 30 minutes of EXO™ chair + 10 minutes of stretch and relaxation = 100 minutes of the ultimate in Pilates work.
